Has Blogger changed its layout again? I'm currently at my new job but there isn't much to do. I don't officially start till Jan 5th 2004 so my immediate boss don't really know what I should do. He's got me reading leases and familiarizing myself with which tenants are of which shops etc. Basically alot of reading and nothing very challenging as yet. Which is good since today is my last day at work before going for holidays.
Was going through the computer and realized that there's lots of restrictions, I can't access my Yahoo! mail and certain webpages, also I can't received attached photos in my email or any unsolicited mail i.e those not bearing stamford.com.au, it automatically removes the attachment. Talk about security! I guess I won't be able to chat but I'll gladly email anyone, it's instant anyway! There are however, perks of working with Stamford, lunch is provided for all staff at the canteen (FOC) and we also get to have our clothes dry cleaned for us. Isn't that really good? It saves me a whole lot of money. I am so glad that I was given a chance to work with this company, just hope that I will steadily climb the ladder within Stamford.
Besides my new job I haven't really been doing much. The weekend saw me shopping. Saturday after my last day at AngusLevitt, Fel and I went duty free shopping. I wanted to get a bag so we stopped by various shops but none took my liking except for a barrel bag at Dior, it was extremely cute but didn't like it as much as the Coach one that I previously saw. I then had to drag Fel to walk all the way into the city to their bigger Coach store instead of the one they had at DFS. As expected he grumbled the whole way. We stopped by this bargain store to get some Christmas hats for my bestfriend back in KL. When we got to Coach I contemplated on 3 different bags all of which same shape and design (sorta). 2 were different colours and the 3rd was bigger. I can't actually describe the bag and it doesn't help that there's no photos of it at their website. I asked Fel to help me choose either Coach or Dior and all he said was "Just buy the damn bag!" So I gladly obliged and got the Coach one.
I am so happy now since I have been eyeing that bag since forever. But I can't use it till I get on the plane. So its now sitting nicely at the corner of my room waiting for me to open it! In return for the bag I now would probably need to buy Fel something too. Maybe a more expensive Valentines gift? I have booked us into both Catalina and Forty One but have yet to decide on which one but then again its a long way more!
Anyways its time for lunch, shall go take a nice walk and sit in the park. Should've brought a book to read. I'll be flying off in just 2 days how exciting!
